Can anyone read and download books? Yes. Anyone can read Islamic Books on this site. However, you have to be a member to download books.

Is there any fees or membership charges? This site is free for everyone. Membership is also free.

What is an "OPEN" Library? Open means that this Library and its contents will continue to grow forever because everyone can be a part of this Library growth.

How can I contribute to this library? You can scan your book and send it to us for upload or you can mail us your book. We will professionally scan the book and upload the book on this site.

I am an author, can I get my book on this site? Yes. You can scan your book your self and email the PDF file, or you can mail us your book and we will scan the book and upload. Please make sure you have permission from the publishers.

Can a publisher get their Islamic books on this Islamic site? Yes. You can scan your book your self and email the PDF file, or you can mail us your book and we will scan the book and upload.

Can I sell my book on this site? No, there is no purchase or sale on this site. Everything is free.

Are all books accepted for this library? No, the Editorial board reviews each book submitted and evaluates the book for the quality of scan and original contents. The Editorial board also ensures the book is in accordance to the Islamic morals and Islamic Library policies.

I have several books and I dont know what to do with them? Please send us your books, you can mail your books to us at two locations. 1) Karachi, Pakistan. 2) San Francisco, USA. Please dont throw your books and we will take care of them.

Who owns this website? This site is owned by a Non-Profit organization.

Is this site affiliated with any other site or organization? No, we are not associated with any other website. We are not associated with any organization. We do not endorse any organization.

Can I get some Islamic information and Fatwa or religious advise on this site? That is not possible. This is a library and we do not provide any religious advise or Fatwa.

This is a Shia Library do we respect other sects of Islam? Yes we respect all sects of Islam, we respect Sahabas of Prophet and we respect all other religions and Cultures.

I am a publisher/Author and I object to a book on this site? If any Publisher or author has objection to any book on this site, please contact us and we will unlist (remove) the book from the library. However we request to consider the benefit to mankind who will use your book for guidance.

I want to donate to this library, how do I do that ? We do not accept any cash donations from anyone. If you want to help us and donate, please ask your family and friends if they have Islamic books that they are not using. Please take those books from them and mail them to us. We will scan and add this book to our library. We only take book donations.

How many books are listed on this site? We hope to meet the target of 5000 books by the end of this year. We will continue to add books to this library for next several years.

Can we send you a paper book listed on this site? We cannot do that.

Does the owner or operator of this site endorse the books? Like any other Library in the world, the librarian or the institution that owns the library, does not endorse every book in the library. Therefore we do not necessarily agree with all the contents of each book on this site. An honest attempt has been made to not list or show books with inflammatory, immoral, political or sectarian contents. If you feel there is book on this site that is inflammatory please contact us and we may remove this book.

How many books can I download, is there a limit to the numbers of books allowed for download? Yes there is a limit of 5 book download per 30 day period. In other words, users can download 5 books within the last (past)30 days.

What is Beta phase, as seen on the Logo? In computing the term "beta" is used as (usually) the last pre-release in the software release life cycle. This means we are still working on the site and fixing problems and what you see is not the final version of the site.

Are there Apps available for this site? Yes. The Android phone Apps will be available in January 2013 and Iphone App should be available February 2013

Can I send or share links of the books I am reading? There are several features after login that are very helpful and we have spent a lot of effort to develop these features. These include; -Share book link via Email, Facebook and Twitter -You can also crop a page or section of any page of a book and share via Email, Facebook and Twitter. - You can bookmark up to 10 books that you are reading. -You can create Favorite book list - You can write your reviews and comments on a book. - You can download books on your computer -You can Link your account on the website with your your phone, so they are in sync. -You can keep only a phone (App) account and have all these features available on a tablet or phone.

Is the Browse books by Category and Subject up to date and complete? Unfortunately No. Categorizing thousands of books is a big task and we will focus on finishing this section soon. At present the Browse books by Category and Subject is incomplete. Browse books by Authors and Titles is complete and up to date.

Why do we not accept financial donations? We intend to cash our efforts in the next life. May Allah accept our effort and cleanse our Niyat and further improve our efforts.
